Hey everyone,
I've been lurking the forums looking at suggested builds around my price range, and I've been following this pcpartpicker list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/SrOy
I've been a long time mac user but decided that I want to go back into PC Gaming and my old mac takes a while to use resource intensive programs.
Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: 2-3 weeks
Budget Range: $1500-$1800 depending on rebates/bang for buck
System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming/animation and graphics (CS6/Blender/Unity/video)
Are you buying a monitor: Maybe, have a 40" LG TV I was planning on using but may not be the same; IPS not needed
Parts to Upgrade: All
Do you need to buy OS: Yes
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Any within US. Have microcenter around the corner; amazon.com, newegg.com
Location: Detroit Metro
Parts Preferences: N/A
Overclocking: Prob not
SLI or Crossfire: Maybe
Your Monitor Resolution: TV is 42LH40 (I think);
Additional Comments: Main priority is heat; the computer will be in the office so noise won't be an issue.
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Haven't had a new PC in a long time
Thanks for the help!
