razer carcharias sound really bad

okay so today i turned on my pc put on some music to find that my headset sounds really weird, the sound is like a squeeling underwater sound i can hear the music or whatever im playing but really quiet ive tried wriggling the jacks around and stuff and downloading some drivers but nothing working, i know basically nothing about headsets. If this is not fixable does anyone know razers return policy for this kind of thing?

anything else just ask, thanks in advance..dint know where else to put this

heres the deal, ive just tried to have the jack slightly hanging out and it sounds fine
anyone know what can cause this, its not the plug because other headsets work there fine

I find it somewhat amusing that you assume that anyone else reading this is also American. I'm from Australia, this is an international forum.

Sound like your getting a bad connection between the plug and jack if you have to angle it to get it working correctly. Its possible that either end is dirty, or the plug has some manufacturing fault that causes it too be slightly too small.
Dont know really, most I can suggest is you get it replaced.
