I am trying to replace the hard drive into my new laptop. however i am having some issues with it. I managed to swap my HDD but then wanted to reinstall my windows 7 on it. I do not have a windows 7 disk so made a Repair disk and a system image which i was hoping would copy my windows straight onto my hard drive. Unfortunately this is not how it is working, I follow all the instructions on the repair disk but when it starts to reinstall it comes up with an error saying it can not find a usable disk. I don't know if this is something wrong with my HDD or windows and help would be much appreciated.
