Hello, i recently replaced my sli 670's for sli titans. Ever since this upgrade ive had nothing but crash issues.

I made sure to do a 100% clean windows install after installing the titans. Win7 is up2date, bios is up2date, video drivers are up2date.

Whats happening? Any time i try to disable 3d surround down to just one monitor windows explorer crashes, and the pc freezes. This never leads to a blue screen.

When in 3d surround my system will crash from what looks like video driver failure after about 30-45 minutes..

I have defaulted ALL settings on CPU & GPU. I ran 12 hours of valley and prime95 last night on one monitor JUST FINE, but as soon as i switch on 3d surround my system becomes extremely unstable.

3570k delidded, under water, stock clocks.

Asus Maximus V Formula

2x EVGA SC TITAN's under water, stock clocks.

2x 256 vertex 4 SSD's. 1x 2tb HDD (all software is on SSD's, hdd is for vid storage)

Corsair hx850w psu.

Pump: MCP35x2

Some one tried telling me this is a power issue, but i find that hard to believe, normally a system wont even boot if you are low on power.

Even when i crash in game it never leads to blue screen. My monitors go dark, about 20 seconds of game sound loops, then fizzles out.

If i do get an error its normally a prec-x error, but this is still happening after uninstalling prec-x, 100% full uninstall of NV drivers in safe mode, and re-install. Also,

Currently on 320.49, iv'e tried other drivers, still have the issue.

one thing I can reassure you- its not a power issue. titan sli can run on a 750w psu

Now, what happens when you run a game on a single monitor without nvidia 3d vision surround. Do you still get a crash or system instability?
How about the gpu usage and temprature? how do they get affected by 3d vision surround. use msi afterburner or other softwares to monitor these.

Since, I never had the privilege to run nvidia 3d vision surround myself, I cant help you out thoroughly in this.

As i stated in the OP. I ran valley/prime95 for 9 hours on stock speeds, one monitor-sli. GPU usage across 3 monitors is usually kinda low, this has been attributed to A. cpu bottleneck, and B. Titans are OP and dont need 99% usage in most programs to push smooth 60fps.

once again, as stated in OP. The system is all under water, with plenty of rads.

new question related to issue: Can not syncing gpu clock speeds cause driver failure?

My issue ended up being caused by the extra heat being dumped into my loop, causing the CPU to get pissy. Some one posted that sli titans can run on 750w PSU... Maybe if they and the CPU are 100% stock. I have clocked my bios modded soft volt modded titans @ almost 500w @ almost 1400core.

Your cards shouldn't really over heat unless they are pushing 90c+
