Gtx 780 or Gtx 760 sli

Solution
I would go with GTX 780, although more expensive. You might not get the same performance with SLI that you get with 1 Gtx 780. SLI 760 is on pair with a Titan, a 780 could give you less FPS on some games sure, but you wont have to hassle about SLI, microstutering (although practicly reduced with SLI) and far less heat in case.

1 GTX 760 would be sufficient for 1080P but may not be enough for 1440P. Also, should pickup a 4GB version of the 760 if you do go this route.

Well obviously it depends on settings. If you're wanting to max games at 1440p, a GTX780 is the bare minimum you'd want to consider with games like Crysis 3. Personally I'd just play on high and enjoy better framerates, but it's not for everyone.
