graphics card not detected

recently i have bought a new graphics card...
it is zotac nvidia gt630 4gb synergy edition...
at first the pc recognised the device but later its not detecting it..
i hve connected the hdmi port and my graphics card is perfectly connected..then also it shows that the standard vga card is connected...it doesnt even allow me to install the driver for the graphics card..

sir,
previously i had my nvidia gt520 graphics card installed on my pc..it was working vey fine.
but today only i bought this new graphics card..but its not working..please help :(

sir,
can you please tell me the how much power does it need to run?
in its info page, it showed that it needs 300w and my psu supplies 450w..
and i have read many comments of people stating that this graphic card worked on their old systems too..it means they had an old motherboard too..! i have intel dg41wv motherboard..! so do you have any clue?
