problems loading up my laptop

I just got my computer nd I was having problems wit turning it on ...it looks like it would ..it shows first a black screen in touch wit Toshiba. Then it shows anorher screen that is pitch black..then it goes to the black screen were it says...
Safe mode
Safe mode with.networkin
Safe mode with command promt
Last known good configuration ( your most recent settings that worked )
Start windows normally
Ok...I go to start windows normally...it goes to q screen were it says
Welcoming windows or something like that...it loads...then it skips that blue screen that says something nd then turns offf..nd then turn bck on...nd yesterday it did the same exact thing..except that wad before I rebooted the computer nd downloaded winds nd Microsoft..nd it was working fine..so I turned it off...I came bck nd turned it on ne it did the same thing that happened before I rebooted it....nd I have no idea wat to do anymore

Power on the machine, just as the Toshiba logo comes on press f8 repeatedly till you get the same Safe Mode menu you described. Select Safe Mode. In Safe Mode access your SYSTEM RESTORE, and choose a time BEFORE these errors happened. It will recover the system back to that RESTORE POINT and see if that helps.

If you call the computer maker for support the 99.999% time answer is to insert the Boot/Recovery DVD and WIPE the system back to how you first unpacked it (losing all your data, programs, etc.).
