Currently having some graphic issues(graphics driver keeps resetting during gameplay) and figured I want to upgrade either way.

What do you think of this card and what do you recommend as for wattage?
Gigabyte GTX770-OC 4gb
Trying to stay around $400 for the card only.

Newegg recommends 705w while extreme power supply recommends 600 I think the benchmark found on here was around 250w(just for the card) I believe.

Currently:
AMD FX-8150
32GB Corsair RAM
Radeon 6950
2x 240gb SSD-non-raid
Antec 650w PSU

My graphics driver could be resetting due to my s****y SSDs so I think getting a new card would be step one, and if that doesn't solve it then I know its my SSD.

your 650 antec is defeintly good enough for that psu no worries, you would even be good with a 500watt decent psu.
the recommendation is way more then acttualy needed, and gpu companies just exaggerate to cover their ass because theres some sht!tty psu companies out there that dont even do what it says on the box, urs is antec, no worries.
but why 4GB of vram? what resolution are you playing on?

Haha, I usually buy things that I know are going to last me a while. That was my intention with the 6950, but that seems to struggle with everything I do. I understand 4GB is most likely overkill, but I do occasionally play Skyrim when I get bored and it has high texture ENB mods that actually use up all my current 2GB of vram.
So your saying I would be fine with 3gb?? lol, I don't even have full 1080 monitors, they are 1050.
Thanks for the reply.

You may want to run memtest too, I just had a laptop that was doing random BSOD and would take forever on boot up. I thought the Hard drive was going bad since the activity light was just solid on boot up. Only to find out I had a bad stick of memory once replaced every thing worked as normal.

I have run memtest86+ (I believe its called), changed my ram around with what I let me, these corsair sticks apparently have to be in a specific order. Anyway, no errors. I did boot into a Linux os for the Mushkin support and received SMART attribute errors on both my SSDs but Mushkin still wouldn't RMA them.
But when my Graphics driver resets it doesn't BSOD, I just get a notification in the windows notification center telling me what happened. Screen goes black, then white, then flickers a little then everything comes back up. The only BSODs I get are from ntoskrnl.exe
