All the skyrim dlc is 30-50% off right now and I was thinking of getting it. However, I was wondering just how much game-play they added. Even with the discount, they all come to almost $30. Since I payed $60 for skyrim and put over 100 hours into it, I think $30 of dlc should be something around 50 hours of game-play. Are the dlc's really that big?

Of the two major, story DLC for Skyrim (Dragonborn and Dawnguard), Dragonborn is the better of the two, but that's not to say Dawnguard is bad, it isn't, Dragonborn is better. Hearthfire, on the otherhand, if you have a console get it, but if you play on PC there are mods that do a better job that it does.

With all things Bethesda, you get out what you put into it. If you're like me, and spend as much time exploring as you do on the story, you'll easily get your money's worth.

Depends how much you enjoy Skyrim. It's not necessarily the same stuff, so that can be a good or bad thing. If all you do is rush to the finish point that price tag may be a bargain; but if you like enjoying the game like it's meant to be then that isn't a bargain...it's a steal!
