I have 2 4gb sticks of ram my pc only shows 4 gb of ram. Please help!

I just purchased 2 4gb ripjaws both the same and i put them in my hp p6-2007 with windows 7 64 bit. Anyways i made sure they are in the right way nice and tight and clamps on and im getting this problem. Thanks in advanced!!!!

It says channel a 0 mb channel b 4000 mb do you know why this would be? i made sure they are in tight. I will try switching them and see what bios says maybe its one of the sticks
