Hello Everybody.

I have a question to you.

I am going to build my rig using MSI Z87I WIFI mini-ITX Z87 Intel Socket 1150 Motherboard

I'm looking for a Low-Profile Gaming RAM sticks, 16 GB.

I was thinking of a Corsair Vengeance Blue 16GB DDR3 1600 MHz <- Low Profile.

Is that a good choice for a i7 4770K ?

Thanks in advance.

Solution

Yes, i7-4770K is a great choice.
Since, you have a "K" model CPU i'd say you can go upto 2400MHz memory and beyond that it maybe little unstable but it will work regardless of that.

I'm not sure as to why you are looking for a LP memory, all I can think of is maybe you ve a CPU cooler which gets in the way of the memory slots. Anyway, if you'd like to go with ValueRAM then try Kingston, Crucial, newegg or this site here!!

Good luck mate.

Thank you for all your help.

I'm sorry for double post, I must of double click the "post" button.

Regarding to your questions, I'm using a LP Ram, because as I never used this MOBO before, I know that EVO 212 will fit perfectly.

Yet I don't want to take any chances.

Although, I was thinking of ordering MOBO and cooler first, in my case Noctua NH-L12 I will fit that all together and see how much space I got left for RAM, if Cooler won't get into way I might get some different ram with higher clock speed.

Thank you all so much :)

I'd go with the Noctula NH-D15. http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=productview&products_id=68&lng=en

High RAM compatibility in single fan mode

Thanks to its recessed lower fins, the NH-D15 provides 64mm clearance for tall memory heatsinks in single fan mode, making it compatible with most high end RAM modules on the market. In dual fan mode, the NH-D15 should be used with standard height RAM (up to 32mm).
