Hello, I just build my new system but it is not working. Once I push the power button, case power LED flashes and CPU fan spins really a bit then stops. System is on for less than 0.5 sec. After that pressing the power button will do nothing. LED flash and fan spinning will happen again when I totally disconnect power cable then do things again. No beeps, but not sure my board has onboard spekaer. It might have actually beeped but speaker was not connected. So, no idea about beeps.

I believe power supply is okay. At least the fan in PSU had been spinning when I tried the paperclip PSU test. Also I could see Standby LED, EPU LED and GPU boost LED on mainboard were on, giving me an idea that PSU is sending some power through the board. BTW DRAM LED never flashed.

Standoffs are used to float the board. 8-pin and 24-pin power cables are hooked up. I don't know what is causing this problem. The thing making me unhappy is that I cannot even pick which component is doing such nasty thing. I would do RMA once I figure out...

One weird thing I found was that those onboard LED were ON for about 20~30 seconds even after the power cable to PSU is removed. Aren't they supposed to NOT emit when they are unpowered? They stays on for awhile... Hmm.. This might be an indicative that there is some power leakage or short. Anyways, I need your guys help! PLEASE give me any advice it may help.

I would recommend just starting over, taking everything apart and putting it all back together. Might be a loose connection, I just built a computer and all mine shows is "P" no idea what its problem is
