How to overclock AM3+

Hello everyone, my friend has a nice amd 6300 that he would like me to give a minor OC to 4.0 ghz and i wanted to ask how do you overclock an amd cpu?

Just bump up the multiplier (in the BIOS), until you see a core failure on prime95 (after 15 min), then bump up the voltage (carefully!) until you see no errors. Then continue to bump up the multiplier and bring the voltage up to stabilize the cores. You should be at 4GHz in no time.
