Im about to sink $1300 into a build and i had bought a EVGA 750watt Bronze psu, most people have told me its not reliable, so i looked at the Corsair HX and AX 750 watt, is there any real defining difference between them? HX or AX? Thanks again everyone. your all a great help!

AX and HX psus have better efficiency than the EVGA 750w (so they pull less current from plug to deliver the same wattage as a bronze certified unit)

AX are fully modular units and HX have some cables soldered and you can't remove them, that's the only difference i know about them...

if the same price, i would grab the AX as it has 2 8pin for cpus over 1 8pin for the HX750 (however you'll never need a second one unless you're doing 3-4 way SLI/Crossfire or a dual cpu setup (basically only in really expensive motherboards that have 2 8 pin "EPS" connectors)
