I'm currently building a computer but when i try to do a test boot outside of the case the fan will spin for a second and then stop. Then it wont spin at all until I unplug the main power cord and plug it back in. I tested the power supply using the paperclip method and it worked so its not the power supply thats the problem. I've also tried turning it on with just the cpu and psu hooked up and i get the same result. I tried using my psu on a different computer and it worked with no problem.
I'm using a MSI FM2-a55m-e33 mobo
G.Skill F3-12800CL9S-4GBRL memory
PowerColor Radeon HD 7770 Video Card
AMD Athlon II X4 750K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
and a corsair 430w PSU.
Any ideas on what could be the problem?
