My computer has been crashing lately. Instead of a blue screen, the display with go to "no signal" and the audio starts repeating rapidly. Again, no blue screen. I think it is somthing with my graphics card, that's why I'm here.
Overheating PC? Old computer dying? Graphics card melted? Any number of answers without any data to help narrow it down. if you don't know your specs, then try SPECCY it is free and you can give those to us to help. Also how old the computer is.
can you give a little more detail?
like specs and do you have to force shutdown
Specs:
Mobo: Intel DG45ID
CPU: Intel core 2 Extreme 2.6 GHz x2
PSU: Antec 650w PSU
MEmory: 16gb DDR2 (YEa, Screw you)
GPU: GT 610 customized running with a factory overclock that equals to a 660. I have 2 so they are running in SLI mode. Both have dual fans and are at a safe temperature. (About 48 C)
Note, I do have the beta drivers for my GPUs. Maybe the drivers are conflicting with my cards?
I recently read a post like this in here where it turned out to be the recent beta driver from Nvidia. Apparently the Beta driver causes freezes and crashes in some cases.
I would try to roll back to the last driver that worked as a starter.
