So currently i have a 3570k and a 770. It tears through games like no other and i'm really happy with it.
I want this system to last me for at least 3 years. (to run bf4 at 45+fps ultra).

But i have heard that AMD is going to be supporting BF4, and are optimizing it for AMD.
I also hear next gen consoles are going to have AMD hardware and are going to be very similar to modern day pc's.

Should i drop the 3570k (sell it) and get the new amd cpu? Or should i just keep it in hopes that games will still be optimized for nvidia and single threaded gaming.

Thanks for reading!

The games they so glibly talk about are still down the road, I'd hold off, next year will see DDR4 enter into this scenario and will see new mobos across the board, that will be a good time to re-evaluate and see where trends are headed
