GPU coil whine culprit for sound card noise!

Hello everybody!
I am worried...
My EVGA 650 Ti SSC is producing an abnormal sound while on load (coil whine I suppose).
When Vsync on (60Hz-60fps) there is no sound produced. When frame rate target is enabled through EVGA Precision (gapped at 60 fps) no sound is produced.
As I see it, the card sounds like that when outpout of fps is in excess (e.g. 500 fps) or even when in low fps in games but in heavy load.
The sound also changes and fluctuates in connection with the on-screen graphics (meaning depending on load I suppose).
This thing is extremely annoying for sure!
Moreover after installing my brand new Soundblaster Z, when in games or other rendering demanding applications my headset (CM Storm Sirus-pluged in sb z of cource) produces noise even when on mute! This brings me to the conclusion that the GPU messes up my sound apart from being extremely annoying, because of EM waves or something like that I suppose!
In this video you can see the coil whine:

If I increase the distance between the two cards by installing them on different PCI slots the problem seems to fade, especially when the GPU is on top of the sound card. But when the top of the PCB of the GPU is close and directed at the sound card the noise reaches its maximum.

Maximum Noise levels http://s24.postimg.org/a0...MG_20130717_012526.jpg

Is this dangerous for my sound card?Should I RMA the card(GPU)?What do you advise me?
Thanks for your help!

coil whine comes from an unpredictable mixture of the ceramic making up the capacitors resonating to a certain power frequency and vibrating against the pcb of the card itself. Generally speaking it's completely random and unpredictable, though certain "families" of gpus suffer it more then others, its a very random problem that can't be predicted.

If the problem is annoying enough to you, you can return the card and hope the replacement has parts from different fabs or batches of materials, though if it comes from the same source and product run chances are you'll have the same problem. Know that coil whine does get better with time, and in answer to your question... no it is not dangerous nor will it break your gpu or cause it to...

It is coil whine. Your sound card will not be affected. If the sound really bothers you, you could RMA and hope the problem doesn't resurface in the new card - but from experience it most likely will. Not harmful.

Also notice you were running 3dmark, the sound shouldn't be as noticeable during gaming.
