Hi,
I have an IBM XSeries_3400 Server.
Specs : - Intel Xeon(R) CPU E5335 @ 2.00 Ghz , 3GB RAM , Windows 2000 Server SP4
It came with 3 Seagate Cheetah 15000 RPM Hard Disks. One of them has gone bad, so i need a replacement.
Should i get the same Seagate 15K RPM disk or consider an SSD replacement (which?)
My basic usage is of database read/write.
I was considering Samsung 840 Pro but don't know whether it will be compatible with my system and windows 2000 server.
Please advice
