I bought a new cpu and im not able to install 2 drivers
SATA RAID
1. Intel® Rapid Storage Technology
2. Intel SATA Preinstall driver
(For AHCI / RAID Mode)

they give a error during installation that my system is not supported and something like that it does not support 32bit or 64bit version

I have downloaded right driver from gigabyte site, win 7 64bit ultimate

my specs
i5 3750k
gigabyte ga z77m d3h
hdd- wd cavier green 1tb
g-skill 8gb ram

are these drivers necessary or not, because my pc is running just right

More about : install intel rapid storage drivers

I dont think you need any of those drivers. You don't need RAID as you only have one drive and if you are running AHCI already in the bios, then your PC should be quite optimal.

I don't install the Rapid storage driver because it actually slows my boot time from like 15 seconds (SSD) to 2 minutes. So yeah you can use your PC without that.

I would check if you are running your harddrive in AHCI mode and if you want to know if your harddrive is performing correctly use HDTune and check the throughput, it should be 100mbytes+
