What downsides are there for switching from a full size build to a prodigy build?

Hi, I am currently running a full size PC but am looking to switch to a prodigy build because I tend move countries a lot. What are the major disadvantages of switching to a mini itx build? Will it get any slower than it is now?
My current specs are :
Intel I5 2500K

Asus ZH77a- g43

Gtx 780 GPU

1 TB HDD

650w PSU

8 GB Vengence RAM

Corsair H90

The only drawback I am aware of is you'll need to replace your motherboard for an mini-ITX size board. Your PSU may need to be changed depending upon it's size. This video by Bitfenix may be of some help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKIsrwS3fX4

If your PSU is 160mm in length or shorter, yes. There are a few 650W PSU's that exceed that length though and that's where you may have issues
