so i have this mobo --- G41M-P26 which supports 1333mhz and core 2 duo e6750 2.66ghz 1333mhz cpu,4gb ddr3 1333mhz ram and when i set fsb to 1333mhz in bios i get bsod in windows performance test or after some gaming and it runs fine with 1066mhz ,why so ???

Solution
The MB did support the 1333mhz RAM but it is for OC, when you OC something and you got the BSOD means the PC is unstable. You need go to the BIOS to up the RAM voltage to let the PC run stable.

But from the manual I don't see that, but you can try to go to the "Advanced BIO S Features".

Also here is info for OC or you can Google too. https://www.google.com/search?q=How+to+OC+RAM&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:eek:fficial&client=firefox-a#client=firefox-a&hs=O5r&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:eek:fficial&q=how+to+oc+ram+in+bios&revid=18343254&sa=X&ei=NdrmUa-HFM_A4APh7IGACQ&ved=0CH4Q1QIoBA&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.49405654,d.dmg&fp=283d8d02439208d5&biw=1280&bih=867

thnx for reply, even if i don't oc anything just set fsb to 1333mhz i get bsod's ,btw i can't oc cpu over 2.75ghz stock is 2.66ghz i get bsod even with lower fsb and no ooption in bios to rise ram voltage, only change timings... so i can't make it working with 1333 fsb ????? it gets mutch better scores with 1333 fsb in everest ram and cache test.....

The MB does support 1333MHZ but it is OC the RAM, here I copy from MSI:
Intel® G41-based motherboard
- Supports FSB 800/1066/1333 MHz
- Supports two DIMM DDR3 800/1066/1333*(OC) DRAM
- 4 SATAII ports and 4 rear USB 2.0 ports
- 7.1 channel audio output

So if there is not option in the BIOS to change the voltage, you need to play with FSb, Cpu Speed, FSB RAM ratio speed a lot more, otherwise just use the 1066MHz, because we don't have the real same PC we can't give you exactly step by step instruction. Sorry abut this.

i can only change cpu speed and ram fsb speed when i set 1333mhz i can only downclock my cpu speed which downclocks ram fsb aswell,so what u mean by saying play with theese ??? so u suggest downclocking cpu speed just a little would make it stable for example 1328mhz ram fsb is lowest i wanna go....
