Hello
I don't know if this is the right section for this but ill ask my question. A couple days ago I started noticing that on all the games I play there's always lag spikes every 5 seconds, it gets my FPS down to like 10 and 15. On all the games, (Blacklight Retribution, TeamsFortress 2, and Minecraft). Some people tell me I have to update my drivers but I think I already did that. This keeps constantly happening.
I have an Trinity A6 with AMD Radeon HD 7520G, 4GB of RAM.

Sounds like a cpu bottleneck to me. Open task manager go to the performance tab and watch the cpu usage graphs (not the overall usage) in game If any of the graphs reaches the top (100% usage) then your cpu is holding you back. That's pretty weak hardware for gaming by the way. What resolution are you trying this at?

I'm not super familiar with those games and their requirements, but it is important to note that the Trinity A6 isn't that great in either the CPU or GPU department. If you are playing the online component of those games and there is a lot going on around you, I would imagine you are having a CPU bottleneck.

are you running 2 sticks of ram vs 1?
what is the ram speed?
what resolution are you gaming at?
what other programs are you running at the same time?
do you do any disc cleanups or defraggs?
do you clean up cookies and malware and do any scans?
what is your HD and how full is it?

Ok it doesn't matter if I run my games at Super low settings or medium. The same thing happens. I don't think it has to do anything with my hardware because a couple days ago it was running completely fine. I don't know what happened, it starts to lag out even in the lowest settings.

I play with 1200x600 resolution. But I repeat this is a new thing that is happening. I've been playing for 8 months with no problems, but just one day this happened. Yes I know I have a pretty bad computer for gaming, that's why I play all my games on medium low settings. My cousin can play this exact game as me with a Pentium with integrated graphics with no lag at low settings.
