I have a Dell XPS 15 L502X with two video cards, running Win7:
1) on-board Intel 3000 something
2) Geforce GT 525M

the Intel is the 'primary' - shifts to the Geforce 'only when needed'.

I have 2 monitors:
1080P system
AOC 2236 secondary connected via VGA to a VGA - mini display (built in port)

I have the same background image on both - the colors in it appear the same on both monitors. I have the 'slate' color scheme chosen and I have turned 'transparency' off on both.

BUT -

Window borders, etc, are blueish gray on the built-in monitor and gray on the secondary. All other colors (icons, buttons, etc.) are the same on both monitors (i.e. - no blue tinting on the built-in or graying on the secondary.) I have drawn a filled box in PowerPoint and it is as close to the same on both monitors as can be expected.

thoughts? why only the windows borders? I've adjusted everything i can find.

Your monitor color settings are probably different. I have dual monitors and I can tell one has a reddish tint whereas the other has a bluish tint. If you want a good way to compare then take a picture that's white (google's home page for example) and drag is so it's half on each monitor. Does the "white" look slightly different on each monitor?
