Decided to finally make the jump over from console gaming and build myself a computer. I need to get as much help and input on building the system as possible as it is a first time for me!

I won't be able to buy everything at once, and each month will probably be buying a component or two. I've read a few reviews, checked out forums like this and came up with this list of components for now.

Already bought a Corsair Vengeance C70 with a couple AF & SP fans
------
i7-4770k
Asus Maximus VI Hero
Corsair Vengeance Pro 8Gb 1600 (Is 16gb beneficial when it comes to gaming?)
Asus GTX 770DC2OC
Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD
WD Caviar Black 2TB
Corsair H100i
Corsair 850W Gold Psu (Would this be enough power for OC'ing in the future?
Corsair Vengeance K60
Corsair Vengeance M65
Also need a recommendation for a good monitor, around 23/24"

Good FPS. Real good. Unless your a huge advocate of ASUS i would recommend the MSI Z87 GD65 gaming motherboard it is getting outrageous reviews and has the lowest RMA of any haswell boards out and has awesome features, looks good and is cheaper. Also the MSI 770 gaming is awesome if paired with one of their boards they have some sort of super saiyan fusion and rock. Or EVGA of course their new ACX Superclocked cards are awesome, im actually looking at getting 2 of em myself.

For a monitor i really like my Acer monitor that is LED backlit. Benq is good, LG is good and Asus has some good ones(not sure of the model)
