I can ping the modem through the router, and perform a tracert on the modem. But the moment i try to access the web interface of the modem I get a timed out error.

Thanks in advance.

Solution
You won't see the modem in your tracert, it's a bridge.

Are you certain that your modem has a web server built-in? If not, game over.

Most of the modems I'm familiar with that do have web servers have them at 192.168.100.1 (not changeable). Since most home networks are 192.x.x.x networks, it usually requires nothing more than changing netmask on your workstations to place that address on your network (255.255.255.0).

I checked my options and I dont see any firewalls on except for the wireless network and that shouldn't be an issue since my computer is using an ethernet connection.

Some more information that i found since posting my question:

When i perform a tracert to anything that is not my modem, i.e youtube or google. The modem doesnt show up as a hop in the log.
