So im about to build a computer for video editing, and 3D modeling/rendering, and was wondering if I would be better off with 32GB's of Memory, or 16GB's of higher frequency memory.

Will the 32 GB's of RAM actually make the program run any faster, or will it just require me to reboot my computer to refresh my RAM less often?

More memory is always better. If you are dealing with pretty heavy files then maybe you wanna try 32GB of memory, but IMO 16GB should handle it pretty well (seen many guys use it). With 32GB as said in the above post "more memory mean it would cache data on the HDD less" but in the end the determining factor is the budget. If you are able to go with 32GB then that's good else go with 16GB (higher freq).
