I'm currently looking for a new laptop (desktop isn't an option
), and in my search I stumbled across the MSI GX60. I thought it looked like a nice laptop, but the processor seems to be a little on the lower end.
The specs:
15.6-inch glossy LED FHD anti-glare display (1920x1080)
Windows 7 (Windows 8 configuration also available)
AMD A10-4600M quad-core processor (2.3GHz base clock/3.2GHz max clock, 35W TDP)
AMD Radeon HD 7970M graphics (2GB GDDR5)
8GB DDR3-1600 RAM (4GB x 2)
750GB 7200RPM hard drive
10/100/1000 Killer E2200 series
802.11b/g/n wireless network adapter
Bluetooth V4.0
Integrated 720p webcam
Blu-ray drive
9-cell Li-ion battery (11.1V, 7800mAh, 87Wh)
The AMD Radeon card looks like a very high performance card (at least in my budget: 800-850 euro's). When I play games, I mostly play games like Battlefield 3 or Far Cry 3. Quite the games that demand high specs.
So my question: Is this laptop good for gaming, and for it's budget? I only have 850 euro's max to spend, so I wonder if it is good.
