Asus 6670 GDDR5 vs Powercolor 7750 GDDR3

Basically the question is pretty simple - which one is better for: 1. gaming performance and 2. high resolution.

I tired to solve this, but can not come to conclusion yet.
Those are 2 contenders, both are $89.99 before rebates.

PowerColor AX7750 1GBK3-H Radeon HD 7750 1GB 128-bit DDR3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131481

ASUS EAH6670/DIS/1GD5 Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121442

OK, forget for now about money value, performance only.

I am not asking about the poll, but explanation why one of them is better than the other, I seen this link already http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20130524121127AAdCDD8 I was thinking the same, but 6670 is DDR5 still, which is confusing. So, what is the percentage increase from DDR3 to DDR5 vs 6670 to 7750, or they are almost equal (a few % doesn't make big deal, in this case better $$ will make a difference).

Any brave one dare to help?

If at all possible, I'd get a GDDR5 version of the HD7750.
Limited to the two you have though, it looks like the HD7750/DDR3 will be slightly faster than the HD6670/GDDR5, though I'd guess there's probably only one tier of difference between them.

That called cheating - I know this myself, that is why I am asking this question.
I will add two more restrictions then - I am looking for cards less than $100 including tax and shipping, which come to no more than $89.99 listed and second, the worst of them all - final choice must physically fit into Optiplex Mini Tower. In order to fit card must be less than 7.5" long and must be single bracket.
Those 2 cards qualify and I don't see any other in USA which can qualify, that is why this question appeared.
Unless I missed some other card.

I can just add another parameter - card longer than 7.5" is OK as long as it is thin like this XFX

So, now I opened all options.

I do fill that 7750 DDR3 will be marginally better or equal to 6670 DDR5, and considering that newer cards will get supported longer this could be a winner, but, but now comes another variable - card manufacturer. Asus is better than PowerColor in terms of quality, so now what would be the final choice?

Well, I only had two video cards fail within hours or days of initial use; BOTH were Asus. One was a HD3850, the other a GTX560Ti, so it wasn't limited to red or green. I've only bought a few Powercolor cards, but they've been fine (one is on its third or fourth owner).

Never have any of those manufacturers, somehow I am into MSI for past couple cards and Geforce before that, Geforce is already 5 or more years old, but still alive and MSI so far offered the best cooling for me and no problem at all.

I am afraid that the rest of users here are faint in heart, LOL, I wish it was that easy.
Will wait a few days, if no one respond - will ask to close the thread.

This is dual bracket, let me explain my real problem, see below:

My problem Optiplex is BTX format....

OK, let me post Optiplex BTX format Mini Tower video upgrade guide, so the problem is shown graphically:

THIS POST APPLICABLE TO MT (MINI TOWER) FORM FACTOR ONLY.

Unfortunately no card that is more than 7.5 inches long or 2 slots wide will PHYSICALLY FIT inside the case - it was found that only single bracket video card can fit due to BTX MOBO, where card internals facing upward towards PC internals, not ATX, where dual card design is blocking another PCI slot by facing downward.
If you prefer the card with beefier fan, then the length of the card must not exceed 7.5 inches, otherwise only "skinny" single bracket, single slot cards can physically fit.

Pictures below will prove my point.

View shows no room for dual bracket

Single bracket only, or you have to cut dual bracket in half

Here you can clearly see only single place for the bracket

7.5 inches explained, also shown "obstacles"

This is the picture of actual "skinny" single slot video card (not sure which model)- perfect, "glove" fit.

Now everyone can see the "problem".

:no::no::no::no::no::pfff:

This is classical BTX format with only one PCIE slot, the rest are PCI slots, magnify picture number 3 and 6 of the guide and look to the back panel you will see that card is facing up (ATX GPU facing down) and there are no slots above........

Ah, I can see it is "upside down;" what I get for not taking my time, probably busy at work.
Well, if it fits, that XFX HD7750 is also now only $90. I had one of those; now in my father's PC (so I can play games when I visit). It runs cool and quiet.

How did you know? When I posted my pcpartpicker link newegg was out of stock! I know this for sure, I was watching for this card since yesterday, it is unfair game, LOL.

Well, the main question was not answered, so I don't know what to do with this thread...
For now thanks a lot for making me comeback (Toms email linked to my iPhone, so I get all notifications at once, LOL) to this thread.
