I'm not sure if people know yet on what the requirements are for "Next Gen" Titles (Xbone, PS4), but what will it take to run these games on PC? Also, When are the major companies( AMD, Intel, Nvidia, etc.) going to announce their next gen hardware? Any info or speculations are useful.

IMHO, since game companies are not going to abandon the vast portion of the market running older and/or budget hardware, minimum requirements will probably reflect no more than a dual-core CPU and a HD6450-class graphics card. With games becoming better threaded though, I would expect that recommended requirements are more likely to be a quad core CPU and HD7750/GTX650 graphics.
Edit: ...and I suspect that an optimum configuration will likely have GTX660/HD7870 graphics.

What exactly (if there is an exactly) does minimum/recommended/optimum mean?
Does minimum refer to the lowest setting possible? recommended being medium/high settings? And optimum being high/ultra settings?

Yeah, I'd guess about like that. Minimum = you can probably run it, but might not enjoy it, at least not its graphics.
