Hi,
I bought a sapphire 7770 ghz oc edition, and the first one i got had a problem were it wouldn't boot past start screen, so i sent it back, got this one in the mail 5 minutes ago and the same thing, I noticed that the voltage is only .9 and my igpu was at like 1.27 (1218mhz), so i need to stablize the voltage at 1.25 from other forums i heard. But heres the tricky part, i cant change voltages in my bios. its an fm2 a55 msi mobo. Very basic, i think i could stabalize it via overdrive but my system couldn't stay up that long to do it, any other ways i could stabalize the voltage

Update: Safe mode works

Specs:
5400k
a55 fm2 mobo msi
sapphire 7770 ghz oc edition
cx430 psu
4gb cruxial ballistix 1886mhz
wd 160gb hd

Changing igpu voltage on bios only effects on board chip. For your card try MSI Afterburner. Turn off igpu as it can cause stability issues when using a discreet card on OC

no, that how i notice that the voltages were off, my igpu was 1.27, and the new graphics card is .9, i read on other forums that my gpu needs to be a 1.25...how do i change it without using bios (bios doesn't have option)

Please re read what I wrote. Igpu has NOTHING to do with your card

And read CoC and ToU - bumping is a violation

Does it do this without yhe card installed? Have you changed any other bios settings? Have tried to boot with igpu turned off/disabled in bios? Are you certain all power plugs are attached to need ports on mobo and sapphire?

No it doesn't do this without yhe lol, card in, ive tried disabling the onboard gfx, and setting it to peg. 4pin cpu is in, 24 pin mobo in, 6pin pci e is in...card is fully pushed into pci bracket....the card isn't the problem i know this because i rma'd it...Im hoping its not the motherboard
