Corsair Link cause BSOD

I have been trying to install corsair link for my h100i recently but when i do it gets part way through installing and the BSOD's. I read in forums that it is a problem with rapid storage technology drivers but after uninstalling them and retrying the corsair link i still get the same problem. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

to be honest, corsair link is a pretty big gimmick. if it causes problems, id rather not use it altogether. corsair link is known to have some glitches and problems

I know, i don't need it because i have software from motherboard to control fans but after paying for the h100i its slightly annoying that i cant use the software to control and change stuff for it.

there is a reason i generally dont recommend corsair stuff unless its cheap and especially not closed loop coolers.
