Ok so i have the gigabyte GA-A55M-S2V MOBO. HWmonitor says TMPIN1 is 80c. I know it cant be the CPU as all other temp programs read my cpu at about 30-40c. I have enough cooling as i have 3 case fans 2 intake ( side and front) and 1 exhaust soon to be 2 ( Back and top.

Does anyone have experience with HWmonitor that can help me ?
Thanks

CPUID HWMonitor, my guesses for what they are...

TMPIN0 = [29, 29] *C = Ambient
TMPIN1 = [ -7, 7 ]*C = no idea/erroneous
TMPIN2 = 39-47*C = Northbridge

AMD A10-6800K (overclocked to 4.5Ghz and watercooled)
[69,72] *C

I am using the Obsidian 900D case, and have all the hard-drive modules full. Added a PCI-RAID card so I think the hard drives are increasing my ambient temp quite a bit. (2 SSD + 8 HD)

My conclusion is that it is different for different PC's but the general consensus 1 is the CPU 1 is the ambiant/MOBO temp you just have to find out which is which.

One clue is if you run stress tests and it doesn't fail, it is extremely unlikely that values of 70c etc are your CPU temp.
