After uninstalling and reinstalling several times, deleting the AppData folder contents, and uninstalling/disabling all Anti-Virus and Firewall software, my Google Chrome still "stops working" as soon as I click the shortcut.

This happened several weeks ago and was resolved with a quick uninstall and reinstall. Now, nothing is seeming to fix this issue that started after a seemingly random crash.

You’re experiencing this problem due to conflicts between different browser objects and components. Ad-filters, extensions, sandbox feature, cache contents might be not working. Below are outlined solutions to fix constant Chrome crashes.

Remove Corrupt User Profile Data Files:
1. Exit Google Chrome.
2. Double click My Computer desktop icon.
3. Open below directory:
C:\Users\[USER_NAME]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
4. Remove all contents from the “Default” folder.

Reset Google Chrome Settings:
1. Click Wrench icon.
2. Select Settings.
3. Click “Show advanced settings” link at the bottom of the page.
4. Scroll down to the page bottom again and then click “Reset browser settings” link.
