I have an unsolved compatibility issue maybe someone can help with. I am using Windows 7 (32-bit) with SP1. I have an old game, MS Golf 2.0, that was fully functioning on XP (SP3). When I put this software onto Windows 7, it partially works. There are options such as "Practice" and "Quick Start" which look and function just as they should. However, the "New Game" option causes an AppCrash error though. Playing a "new game" is the main reason for playing the game in the first place. I have tried going to Properties, Compatibility tab, and selecting to run as XP (SP3), (SP2), and even '95 with rebooting before trying to run the program each time. None of that solved the issue. I have also tried using the "Run programs made for previous versions of Windows" in the Troubleshooting section, which is essentially what I had already tried. Someone mentioned running in VirtualBox, but I don't have a copy of my old XP operating system as that computer didn't ship with one. If anyone has any good suggestions to fix this, I would be interested to try. Thanks!

Run in compatibility mode, but don't reboot. Set that option in the properties, then run the program as admin. See if that works.
