Hi I have this reciever here (http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Shop/Specials/VSX-822-K+-+REFURBISHED). I currently have all my game consoles and computer hooked up to this reciever that is in return hooked to my sound system. I have a xbox 360 (hdmi), ps3 (hdmi), and wii/xbox (component) all hooked up and running on the TV. Now I want to buy a new computer monitor to replace the tv because I hardly watch tv and Im doing more and more gaming on my computer, so I dont mid if my xbox and ps3 dont look as good. My question is how can I connect all this together to the monitor? The xbox and wii are on a component switcher so its only one set of component cables, but its the only problem I foresee. I know I only need a single input on the monitor because my receiver handles the inputs. Can someone tell me in detail how to hook everything up and what adapters/ports on the monitor I would need before I order it all Friday?

Now if I cant do this easily with what I have, I can just shelf my old xbox and just break out my old tv if I want to use it and get a component to hdmi box for my wii. (that works right?) Thanks for the help before hand!

Your question seems a bit strange to me. If I have understood everything correctly you need to be able to hook up all your consoles and your computer to one monitor and says that your receiver can manage all your consoles so you will only have to use one input for those? As I understand it you just need a monitor with two HDMI inputs, which is standard for almost every monitor. One input for your receiver and one input for your PC.

Are your receiver able to transfer sound through the HDMI? In that case the sound shouldn't be a problem with your PS3 and Xbox360. The Wii and Xbox will need to have their own analog input to the monitor (or stereo). I guess you can buy a switch for that.
