Custom steam box build $570 rate?

Do you guys think this build can play steam games on 1280 x 720 resolution on high medium settings with as turned off? With at least 50+ fps? I don't like bottle necking so yeah. If you already don't know, it will be used to play mostly steam games.

Besides gaming, I'll also be using YouTube most the time.

it should work just fine at those resolutions. no promises about the mb recognising the cpu though. you might need to get help from the retailer to make sure it has the proper bios loaded so you can get your system up and running.

I too am confident aboput that rig being able to do what you want, you will likely be able to play games in high settings. I have an 8320 and a Diamond 7850 2gb. Though I do agree with Ingtar about the Mobo. Also, If I were you I would start getting some more money for a CPU cooler, my AMD cooler is loud and I am in the process of replacing it.

Another thing, I am looking at that GPU as well, I am going to CF it pretty soon with my Diamond.

generally most 970 & 990 chipset motherboards will work fine. anything else it will be a crapshoot.

that should work. not a fan of biostar but that mb supports bulldozer out of the box, so you should be able to get far enough to upgrade the bios if it doesn't recognise that 6300 properly. you should be ok. not a fan of biostar but thats neither here nor there.

Also, the only reason to get a new mobo is so that it will reconize the CPU? So should I make sure it will reconize it? Or get another mobo that will?

sorry i changed my response. you got a mb that will work with the biostar. it will recognise your fx6300 just fine. I distrust biostar, that doesn't mean it won't do the job for you, just don't expect miracles if you plan to overclock.
