Hello I am only 16 but my pc currently cannot handle mostly new games barely on medium settings without my pc going down to about 5 frames per second. I own a AMD A8-3850 APU (I believe it is only a duel core processor?)with a Radeon 6670-2gb PCI-E graphics card. It is 2.90 GHZ But I accelerate my PC to 3.6 GHZ (only when playing games). Has 16gb of ram but my pc doesn't seem like it can handle many games like (Arma 2 or crysis 2 or cod black ops)? I have a nvidia graphics card spare in my old pc it is only a 512mb graphics card but would it be better to put it in this pc before I get a new graphics card and would it be possible to keep the graphics card that I have now in my pc and go with two graphics cards? Or is it my processes that is lacking? My goal is to have a pc that can play all new games on at least high with at least 30 frames (such as BF3 and new games that are coming out in 2014). what graphics card would you suggest for me? I won't go over the price range of $150 with maybe an exception of $200.
Sorry for the long question by the way.

+1 for the GTX660. Your A8-3850 is quad core, and it's OK for games, only GPU is bottle necking You right now.

So go with GTX660 or if You can get some more cash the latest GTX760 as an exception :))

If you're going with the exception of 200 definitely go with the gtx 660, that'll run any game at every setting being the highest. With the exception of some anti aliasing settings. I'd go for that for sure because that'll keep you set. If the price is too steap get the 650 ti. But I'd recomend saving up and getting the 660. I'd go with the twinfrozr.

AMD R9 290. It does run the newest games quite smoothly, and it costs $400, so I consider that cheap. I recommend it in Crossfire, to get the maximum performance. It runs most games at 1080p @ 60 FPS, but the FPS gets cut in half when you play in 4K, so that's why I recommend it in crossfire. It doesn't run that cool either, wich is why it is cheaper than the GTX 780Ti. The R9 290 runs at about 95 degrees, but the 780Ti only runs at 83. The 780Ti also runs a couple frames higher, but it is about $300 more expensive. So that's your choice, if you wnat the 780Ti or the R9 290. Again, I would recommend the R9 290 because it's a lot less expensive.
