New gaming build

Hey I'm building my first PC. Mostly gonna use it for gaming, watching movies and surfing the web. I need you to tell me that all these parts fit and work together. Thanks ;) 


Memory: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB)

Fan: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO

GPU: GIGABYTE GV-R797OC-3GD Radeon HD

HDD: Western Digital WD Blue WD10EZEX

I would use http://pcpartpicker.com/ you enter all your parts in there it gets you the best prices and makes sure everything is compatible!

What is your complete budget for the whole build? We might be able to pick up something better. Always remember, there is always a room for improvement.

There is nothing at all wrong with a HD 7970 GPU they are quite good.
