Hi!
I am looking for a fan controller for my GD05 case. I am currently using a BitFenix Recon in my 5.25" slot, but I am growing tired of not having an optical drive, and the fact that the Recon does not match the GD05 black aluminum bezel.
I am going to swap to a Silverstone cover w/ a slim slot-in optical drive, but I need some way to control my 7 case fans that doesn't require a 5.25" slot. (I could put a fan controller in a 3.25" slot, but I would not be able to access it without opening the case so it would need to be automatic/adjusted via software.
I have 3x 120mm intake fans which should, ideally, always operate on the same RPM (read somewhere that this gives optimal case cooling. I also have 4x80mm fans, 2 for the CPU and 2 exhaust fans.
I have looked at the corsair link, but I am a bit weary after having seen a lot of negative feedback about using it with non-corsair hardware (my 120mm fans are Scythe Gentle Typhoons, the 80mm are Silverstone Suscool 81).
One solution is to use a Silverstone FP33 for the 120mm fans and let the motherboard run the 80mm fans, but I would prefer a fan controller that makes the 120mm fans adjust to the temperature whilst ensuring that they maintain the same RPM.
Any suggestions?
