Hey everybody!
I'm building my first gaming Pc right now, which i then want to use on my TV on 1920x1080 Full HD, mainly for Games, partly for films and working, but i think playing games on high settings is the goal.
I originally wanted to use the bitfenix prodigy as a case, as it would fit pretty good into my living room, but yesterday i went to a local tech shop and they recommended me not to, as "the micro motherboard would somehow not have enough performance for gaming". They changed very much on my original list and said i should go their way, but i dont really trust their recommendations so i thought i'd ask you guys for help. Here are both lists, I'd love to hear some thoughts on what you'd say!
Original List: Bitfenix Prodigy, Intel i5-4570 boxed, Asrock h87-m-itx, vengeance low profile 2x4gb, GTX 760

Local tech shop list: Midi Cooler Master Silencio 550 white, Intel i5-4570 boxed, Asrock S1150 z87 Pro3, DIMM DDR3 8GB Kingston Value Kit, PNY GTX 660 Ti XLR8

Both lists then use a 530 W be quiet, SSD by Samsung and another HDD

Main questions are: Bitfenix Prodigy really too small, as the motherboard would decrease the performance so much i should rather go with a taller case? And why should i change the gtx 760 to a pny 660 gti?
Thanks everyone!

Solution
M-itx motherboards are rather powerfull and reliable these days so don't be afraid of the form factor. You won't overclock after all.

GTX760 > GTX660Ti (marginally) sto there no reason to go for the older one.
