Hello, thanks in advance for takeing a look at my problem.

In short, on every boot my PC just crashes on the POST screen, and sometimes a couple of seconds after either on the bios or when loading into safe mode.

Akasa Venom 550w PSU
AMD FX-8350 8 core
Asus GTX 660 Direct CUII
ASRock 990FX Extreme 3
2x4GB Crucial Ballistix DDR3 1800
2TB Western Digital SD

I have tried using 2 other different graphics cards and the PC works with no problems at all, it's just those 2 graphics cards suck!
So I then sent the GTX 660 back thinking it to be faulty, where I got the reply "no fault found. posted into windows and run multiple stress tests for 24 hours".
The card was returned to me and I am now very stuck on what to do or try.

I have tried;
1. Re-seating in 2 of the 3 PCI-E slots (case is too small for the 3rd)
2. Using other graphics cards - Asus HD 5450 1GB DDR3 (everything went stable and I installed Windows 7 & booted with no problems/crashes)
3. Resetting the CMOS
4. Searching the net where I could not find any solutions or fixes :(
5. Using another PSU @ 550w (same result)

All cables are plugged in incl. PCI-E 6pin power on the graphics card. I cannot hear any system beeps on boot. The only other thing I have noticed is the card is quite hard to seat compared to others ( have to apply more pressure )
Any help would be fantastic!
