What do I need to change to make this a good gaming PC?

This computer already is a good gamer
Only thing you can upgrade is ram wich isn't needed cause 8 gigs is maximum used for gaming
and your graphics card already is super good so no need for upgrading that.

You can maybe buy a big cpu cooler to overclock it or water cooling.

This computer already is a good gaming computer.
If you really want to change something you would have to get a new motherboard and get a other CPU.
But the specs you have now is a good gamer.

a SSD wont affect your gaming expirience.
It will only start uo the game a bit faster but thats about it.

are you running ram in pairs and what ram is it?

SSD).......... and yes, especially if gaming on line........... quicker load times mean you'll be the one over running the spawn points.......... either way, quicker load times means less wait. not to mention data transfers will be more beneficial over a platter drive.
