ATI Radeon HD 6450 1G black screen on start up?

i have recently bought a ATI Radeon HD 6450 1G and my computer works fine until i put it on m mother board my computer dosent start up it just sits there with the fan on .. in the gpu and the cpu fan. my current power wattage is 400W and i have 8gb of ddr3 ram..if anyone can help please let me know asap

Check your video connection, make sure it is plugged in good. You might want to blow into the PCIE port (use compressed air if you can) there might be some dust in there preventing it.

can you try a different port? Like instead of using the VGA use the DVI, or vice versa?

YEA I HAVE TRIED THE HDMI port.. sorry caps and it still dosent work :/

If the ports are clean and dust free, and the card is securely placed inside, the only other thing it could possibly be is you have a setting in the BIOS to change from onboard video to PCIE video (if you don't change this your computer wont switch from onboard to video card so the video card doesn't have a signal to produce) or your PSU doesn't have enough juice to run the video card (this is a semi low profile card and shouldn't take up a lot of electricity but even a little bit can be enough.
