Okay so before I had windows 7 installed on my custom build, but it started to get bloated so I opted for a reinstall. I started the install but it failed and now whenever I try to boot from anything it fails to recognise it once it gets past post, as the storage media is recognised in the BIOS options but when it tries to boot it just says “BOOTMGR.EXE IS MISSING CTRL ALT DEL to restart”, even when I try to boot from the windows 7 install cd. I have also tried booting from a debian live cd and pendrive, and removing the MOBO battery to reset the options, while trying a barebones boot and I get the same results, even when I unplug the HDD
