Good Evening to all!

I've designed my first ever rig, and need all of your help to guarantee I am spending more wisely, and not stupidly.

Build Specifications;
Case - Corsair Obsidian 350D
MoBo - Asus P8Z77-m
CPU - Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad Core
CPU Cooler - Corsair H60 Liquid Cooler
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1600MHz)
SSD - Crucial 128GB M4 SATAIII
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200rpm
GPU - PNY GeForce GTX 760 2GB PCIe
PSU - Corsair CX750m (750w Modular)
OS - Windows 7 64-bit
Monitor - LG IPS224v 22" (1920x1080)
Speakers - Creative Gigaworks T40 Series II

The reason for building this PC is so I have a super fast PC (boots up completely in approx. 15secs from turn on to full loaded)
I want to be able to play games in almost any resolution (generally high)
I want to be able to play films/music of high quality
I want to be able to over-clock from 3.4GHz to approx 4.0GHz

If you would kindly give feedback on my rig, and any suggestions/alterations/pros/cons etc it would be much appreciated.

Power supply is over-sized unless you plan on a second video card, and even then you should be looking at the HX series from Corsair. Or look into a higher quality model from Seasonic or XFX at 500-550W.

You listed 8GB of memory, but is that 1x8GB, 2x4GB, 4x2GB? Ideally, you want 2 4GB sticks to enable dual channel memory.

Thanks for your post,
I do believe my power supply is oversized, I believe after totaling the wattage of my system is come to about 404w total, but Ive allowed for a 750w so in the future, should I want another graphics card or more demanding components, I wont need to buy a new PSU because the one I have is sufficent.. but Ill be using a modular PSU so i dont have cables around that arent in use!
In regards to the RAM, I will be using 2 x 4GB for dual channel, with heat spreaders.. would you say 2 x 4GB or 4 x 2GB is best? (I have 4 slots, I used 2 x 4GB incase I want to expand to 16GB)

Thank you for your post, initially I intended on using a Creative Sound Blaster Z (116dB SNR) but I got several posts saying that unless Im going to be using audio as a job, or im audio editing etc I wont need one?

What do you recommend.. stand alone Sound Card or Integrated HD Audio?
General for Music and Movies tbh

If you're using headphones integrated will be more than enough. For speakers i'd use a sound card. The Xonar series is pretty good just depends on how much you want to spend. Whole series is pretty good though.

My current build is £1,340.00 GBP ($2,050 USD)
So my budget is getting very tight... I'm willing to go to £60 ($90) but the back plate MUST be silver...
Ive seen good Audio Cards but they have a gold back plate which will make my rig look stupid from behind...
Any Recommendations on a Xonar series Card? (Ive been told a few times Xonar is decent)

Also, take a look at the fans!

Corsair SP fans are optimal if there are obstructions (coolers, lots of hard drives) right in front of them: they deliver more pressure, but move less air.

Corsair AF fans are optimal if there are no obstructions: they move more air, but only if there are no obstructions as they don't have much pressure.

For exhaust I'd definitely recommend AF if they aren't attached to a cooler. If they are, go for SP.

For intake, if there's no obstruction (like in side-panel fans), I'd go with the AF as well. If they're taking in air against HDDs, SP are the way to go.

Take a look at this?
http://www.bgears.com/b-blaster.html
Im thinking about getting 5 of these... (3 exhaust, 2 intake)
there is minimal obstruction, 1 x 3.5" HDD in the bottom of the case, and 1 x 2.5" SSD in the top of the case,
There is perfect airclow capability just need a decent fan

Those are outstanding fans, having enormous CFM and pressure. However, it also has outstanding noise levels... If you get a fan controller, those are great, as you can probably get quiet operation and heavy cooling only when necessary. If not, I'm almost completely sure the noise will freak you out. Especially since you're getting a micro-ATX, you probably want a quieter case. With those fans, this will not be the case (oh look unintended pun).

Personally I'd either get the corsair fans you mentioned (which I've owned) or Aerocool Shark, which are the ones I own right now. Only reason I didn't go for Corsair again was because the 140mm they have are Quiet and not High Performance.

Both the corsair and the aerocool fans come with 12v to 7v adapters which make them much quieter, while obviously reducing performance.

The reason I looked at the BBlaster fans is because they have a MASSIVE airflow (higher than any fan ive ever seen for a PC) which would be perfect for my rig as I'll be OC'ing and some gaming at HD res..

Their 35dBA at full speed? which in comparison is the noise level of a whisper (as I believe)...
I will be getting a AKASA 6 channel Fan Controller though, so if i find them to be too loud, Ill just alter the speed.

Do you know of any fans that have a CFM rating above 100CFM with a lower noise level?
