I don't have a clue what i'm looking for and have aimlessly been looking through laptops for days, i don't know what laptops are worth the price and if they are god for gaming or not. My price range is around £550(i know its not much)
I would like some advise.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the replies, i have found this laptop.

Would you say that would be a good one?

And for the games question, i will mostly be playing football manager and minecraft:)

I know its £600, but if you guys recommend it i'll get it

Hi,

most laptops are bad for gaming, their are not build to last and have a hard time with cooling.

What games do you want to play ?

For 550 euro you won't get anything good for modern gaming.
For basic usage a 500-600 euro would do the trick.

Also if you play games while on battery: your asking for trouble.
(last about 1 h on new battery, but computer will go in energy economy mode and then get bad frame rates. )

If you want something descent, you need at least 1000-1200

Normally, 8GB of RAM is fine for gaming and you need a good video card because in most cases it is Not up-gradable. The most disappointing answer on these Forums is the video card is not up-gradable on most laptops.

On Tom's Hardware Graphics Card Hierarchy Chart you can compare mobile video chips.

Can you find anything with an i5 and 660M video card in your price range? Or if you prefer 7870M (Radeon)
