Where do i plug in fans

I don't know where to plug in the 4 pin molex cable(which are connected to the molex fan cards) into the power supply.... Here are the ports available CPU, SATA, PATA. Which one do I use? or does it matter?

Also, do I need to connect my fans to the motherboard if I connect them to the power supply?

Connecting to motherboard or Psu is your pick. But if you've run out of room on your board use the psu.

Molex is for fans and addons like addition usb 3.0 expansion cards. You dont need to put them anywhere. Just put them back of the case for now. Sorry i misunderstood your question and might still am.
