Netgear Router Locks All Used Ports After Update

Hi,

I recently updated my Netgear router (WNDR3400), and when I went to my port forwarding interface, it appeared to be empty. Before the update, many ports were forwarded and were shown on the list. Since no services were listed, I clicked "Add Custom Service" and entered in information for the Minecraft server that I run off of my computer (it uses port 25565). When I attempted to apply the settings, it informed me that my request conflicted with another, previously existing service.

To me, it appears that all ports that were forwarded on my router before the update are now hidden from the configuration list, and impossible to change. Does this mean that all the ports that were being used are now permanently unusable, or is there a solution? (perhaps a way of clearing all port forwarding services at once) Thank you very much in advance.

Solution
After you flashed the router with the new firmware.
Did you power down the modem and restore it back to factory default settings.

You need to do this so the new firmware is applied properly.
Then you may have to enter in all the ports you intend to use in the port forward section of the router.

Some firmware updates require you to do this to fully update the router.
