I am new to building computers and don't have much money. I need to be able to view stocks in real time, open applications quickly, download various software, etc.. Can somebody please tell me the best components I can get to build this type of computer for under $600.

If you only have those needs that you have mentioned, then this build should be a very good build which would be very much future proof. It would like serve you for like 5-10 years if those things are the only things you do. So go for it, it should not be a problem with the stuff you do.
